She’s not just nasty, but that voice of hers is impossible to listen to. She sounds like she is straining to push out a turd. That’s the nicest thing I can say about her.

That's the wrong question and the wrong answer. Maxine happens to have seniority so she's at the top, but she hardly has a wide following in the country as a whole or in the Black community. She wins reelection, but she's hardly beloved. And why would Harris's model necessarily have to be Black and female? Imitating somebody who has the right tactics to achieve the goals she has in mind would be a lot smarter than limiting oneself to somebody who never had any wide appeal.
Apparently, Kamala Harris and her handlers have realized that she’s too bland to appeal to Black voters in sufficient numbers to win primaries. So she’s decided to adopt a more Maxine-like persona — nastier, louder, with more ranting and raving and lunatic touches to energize the voting base she’ll need to become a serious presidential contender.
All of the candidates are appealing to the militant base. All of them are going after Trump aggressively. It's not a matter of race or sex. Kamala's tactics aren't designed to appeal to African-American voters, but to ideologically-motivated and strongly partisan Democrats. I really doubt anybody in the hood loves her more today than they did yesterday.
Sam Ervin was a statesman in comparison to the toads who inhabit the Democrat party today.
