Nadler and Nancy can’t afford to let Trump off the hook. The cloud of suspicion needs to stay in place. Otherwise, no democrat will have a chance against Trump in 2020, and Trump’s coattails may doom the democrats’ chances of keeping the house.
How the heck can democrats battle against the most successful president in over 100 years? How the heck can they convince people that the ongoing economic boom is nothing more than a figment of the people’s imaginations? Democrats are desperate to change the harsh reality of the good times that the country is enjoying.
