A basic tenet of the communist party is,to remove all images of our history, and all that is good to appease those bent on replacing our Constitutional Republic.

"Will Philadelphia next remove the Liberty Bell? After all, it was commissioned by slave owners and inscribed with a verse from the Bible."Seems the very people who want to change America don't want to or care to know or learn her history.

Actually, the bolts were a successful repair. The crack that limits its use is of much smaller width and extends from the old repair toward the top of the Bell and runs into the word Liberty. You must get quite close to see the damage.
It has been rung on several occasions in the last Century. Man on the Moon, Civil Rights Act, and a few other times.
