Which of those states have enacted laws to give their electoral votes to the winner of the national popular vote though? Campaigning there might not make any difference.

I have to wonder how that’s all going to play out when the rubber meets the road. Imagine if your state voted for one candidate, but the state law required that the electoral votes go to the other candidate?

Its not a bad idea, and its not an EITHER/OR proposition.

Trump will not lose a single upper midwest state he won in 16, and he’ll most likely win MN as well in 20.

He isn’t just targeting this list of states, he will be very active in all the states he won in 16, and won’t lose a single one of them and will take a few more at least, that are on this list.

Howard Dean’s 50-states strategy worked well. FORCE the other side to defend everywhere. Classic and effective plan *IF* you have the resources and energy to pull it off without losing vital areas.

Goes into effect once total EVs of approving states is 270.

Not happening by next year. But maybe 2024 with a new GOP candidate...

I think that the wisdom of my strategy involves resources, time and stamina.Although he's likely to be well funded next year (2016 was the first time I donated to a Presidential campaign, next year will be my second) he's not likely to have unlimited funds. And I'd wager that the Rat nominee will be very well funded because the Rats' hatred will be greater next year than it was in '16.

As for time and stamina...it's a big country and even employing my strategy would be grueling...particularly given that he now has a day job.

TV ads in the states mentioned would be OK...if funding allows. But visits? Maybe not.

Nope, not New Hampshire...voter fraud is protected by law there ("Same Day Registration") and the most heavily populated part of the state is basically a suburb of Boston.

New Hampshire's EVs will be forever Rat.

If the blue state’s new laws assigning electoral votes to the popular vote stands, then he must campaign in all 50 states. A few hundred votes in California might be the difference in the popular vote.

Didn’t New Hampshire pass a bill stopping prohibiting same-day voting?

Colorado can be won. He almost won in southern Colorado, a traditional blue collar area. Pueblo can be won because he is bring steel business back, and if he wins Pueblo he can win southern Colorado.

He should go in for Virginia too.

They have an unrepentant BLACK FACE Democrat Governor and
a SEXUAL PREDATOR as Lt. Governor.

If Republicans can’t make inroads with these clowns in office the Virginia truly is beyond all hope.

MN is a red state, except for the ballot stuffing and counting going on in St. Paul, on or three weeks after an election.
Clean up the election process...no same day registration, absentee ballots for military only, and proof of citizenship at the polls, and you’ve got a Trump win.

Illegal.

Votes are tallied and sealed.

Votes cannot be later modified.

Quit siding with the devil.

“There are some states that we were very close in in 2016, Minnesota being one of them, New Hampshire being another … so I think that, you know, it’s pretty obvious to see what the states are that we fully plan to be competitive in, based on what was close,” Trump campaign Deputy Communications Director Erin Perrine told the Washington Examiner Thursday.

Clinton lost Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin by smaller margins than Trump lost Minnesota or New Hampshire. Concentrate on keeping those three and you don't have to sweat the other ones.
