Perhaps, but I’ve also always wondered why the very FIRST thing that Trump did as President wasn’t to unseal every damn record about Barack Hussein Obama that Obama sealed up.

Of course this is a fishing expedition. But there’s another strategy in play IMO. They are trolling Trump and trying to prod him into doing something they can use in an impeachment case.
Trump is far more disciplined than many give him credit for. Sure he tweets and stuff but he generally holds his fire.
