It would be so much easier if people would just make the over the counter Plan B pill available to young women.
Just one little tiny problem! The Constitutions does not mention abortion or anything close. The original law and court arguments were based upon some really serious stretches of logic, ones that honest and moral people find disturbing.
The dictatorial power of judges was predicted in in the “Anti-Federalist Papers” Brutus XI 31 January 1788.
Where it was pointed out that people constantly seek to gain power over other. And that the judiciary would so by progressive little steps through it’s rulings over a long period of time. And that’s how it has turned out.
The motivation behind the new laws from Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, Missouri, Kentucky, Ohio, Arkansas, and Utah is to have them overturned and brought up before the US Supreme Court.
Another Obama Judge just halted the construction of the Wall based on separation of powers. Never mind it was the ACLU who sued and they have NO standing to complain that Congressional power is being usurped.
There is nothing that Trump can do that some Obama Appointed Judge cant and wont rule against.
This has gotten to the point of being a pathetic power grab. Paging Mitch McConnell, however much you want to pat yourself on the back for getting judges through, you havent gotten through nearly enough. This is an absolute destruction of our democracy.
If Congress did not think it had given the President the power to divert funds then why did it try to repeal the law?
Prove that Obama was not eligible to be president and then all of his judicial appointments go bye bye.
Here is the thing. Those powers not delegated to the Federal Government via the constitution are to be decided by the states. One could strip away 90% of federal interference just by enforcing that provision alone.
