Yeah, we’ve had some rumbling out our way. Some tornado watches out in Virginia but only sever thunderstorms here.
What have you been doing during your retirement?
Some excitement in the mall today....I left the 4th floor headed to the 1st floor and turned right on my way to Best Buy. Just in time to see a naked man running in the opposite direction. I thot I had mall security on my phone, but just then a mall cop came up the escalator from the lower level food court. We all pointed him in the direction the guy was running.The halls were alive with chat about what had just happened. My goodness!!!

Sounds like having an office in the mall is the place to be for all the adventures...and conveniences.
I did some gardening, taught a lesson to my awesomest student, and went out with my brother and his wife to watch the Celtics and play Trivia.
All in all, a nice day, albeit rainy.

Blue is still in the shoppe, as the memorial Day Weekend messed everything up there. (sigh) Oh well. It’s rainy and cold anyway so no big deal.
Penny is going to the “Doggie Day Spa” tomorrow for a much-needed BATH.
She hates getting wet, so I have no idea what to expect...
It’s HARD for me! ROFL.

My girls do this too. Much easier than me trying to do it in a small bathroom. Our old gal goes for her spa day tomorrow as well.
Glad you didn’t get any of the tornadoes. I had heard that some had popped up around your general area and I was worried for a bit!
What have I done? As little as possible. LOL! No huge projects and no trying to get everything done in one day. I stay up as late as I want to and sleep as late as I want to. If I feel like cleaning, I do it, if not, there’s always tomorrow. LOL! As my brother said on Facebook, we were both born to be lazy bums. But nothing has fallen apart and my stress is gone for the most part.
I’m going to fly to WY to see the kids in August. I take a few trips to see people but not as many as when they and my MIL lived in OK. I’d go more if I had places to go and had lots of money for doing it. Plus, my hubby hates to travel, so mostly if I want to visit people, I have to go by myself.
Don’t know....I have to suspect they did at some point. He was headed toward the skating rink which is on the food court lower level. (He was on the 1st floor, ground floor level.) School is out, so LOTS of kids everywhere.
Being here isn’t as bad as I thot, but I’m still not thrilled. LOTS of car breakins (I have a handicapped placard, so am up close and I hope immune to the breakins.) And kids like to pull alarms. I have a walkie talkie from safety and wait in the stairwell until we find out if it is real or not. I’m not walking down 4 flight of stairs for a false alarm.
At least Blue is dry and warm...good luck with Penny. She will probably not appreciate all the water.

Wish I could sleep late. I thought I was going to be able to once I retired, but now I get up with hubby before he leaves for work. And once up, I can’t go back to sleep.
Unfortunately, he will be out of work at the end of June. So, we will start the job hunt for him, or unemployment. But we’ll be able to sleep in; maybe. LOL
Maybe once HE retires. LOL
And sure wish I could travel more, too. And get to the beach more often.
OH geez, Ma, sounds like being in the mall is a PIA. Glad the mall security works with you in those situations.
We have troubles in our mall too. I don’t go there much anymore.
