Not him. Savid Javid has actually been pretty good and rational and likes Trump. But that may be one of the reasons he wasn’t invited. On the other hand, maybe he was invited and couldn’t come, maybe it was Ramadan and he’s observant, or whatever. But from what I’ve read he’s not a bad guy.

Thanks for the link. That was an interesting article. One key passage.

Javid said ““I am a proud, British-born Muslim, and I love my country more than any other place on earth,” he began, before declaring that, if he had to go and live in the Middle East, he would not choose Dubai, with “its vibrant city life and soaring skyscrapers,” nor Saudi Arabia, “a fabulously wealthy nation and the birthplace of the holy Prophet Mohammed.”

“There is only one place I could possibly go,” he continued, “[to] Israel. The only nation in the Middle East that shares the same democratic values as Britain. And the only nation in the Middle East where my family would feel the warm embrace of freedom and liberty.”

“”9/11 WTC - nuff said.””

You have to wonder what is so darned difficult about that!!! I can imagine what the headlines would be today if it was to happen again. SO WHAT? WE DESERVED IT because we elected Trump as president - blah blah blah!!!

Mohammedanism is incompatible with Western Civilization.

I’m afraid so, yes. At least for many Muslims it’s a war plan.as you say

‘Moozie heritage’ indeed!

Not only about not putting him on the hotseat about his Ramadamadingdong meal thingie when fasting.

Since when do Moozies go clean-shaven and bald? If honoring their ‘heritage’, he should have his full goat beard and dustmop of a hairdo.

Maybe they were also worried that he might be embarrassed when his vest failed security screening.

Muslims here were fasting last week... You couldn’t get them to go to lunch or dinner if you tried.

They said that back when Bush was president and said he was partly responsible even though Clinton was president while they were in flight training/planning for five years.

The state banquet organizers probably just figured that Sajid “Viagra Jihadi” Javid would be busy raping under-age Brit girls that night...

"why the home secretary appeared to be the only senior cabinet minister not invited"

"Javid was the most notable senior minister not to be invited to the state dinner"

OK, which is it???

if the former, because you are a filthy goathumper

if the later, same reason as the rest of them...

now go away

The French are racist. Really, really racist - against other Europeans as well. The Maghrebins and Central europeans are always kept below the glass ceiling. And even among the French, unless you have been to the elite schools, you don't rise beyond middle management

England is far more egalitarian

To be fair though, Sajid Javid is a lapsed Muslim - non-practicing for decades and his wife and children are Christian and service-attending Christians.

you’ve mixing up Sajid Javid, the Tory home Minister who wants to lead the UK through no-deal Brexit with the Mayor of London who is from Labour

you're mixing up Sajid Javid - a non-practicing Muslim who has practicing christian wife and kids

with Sadiq Khan

It's quite clear that Sadiq Khan is Muslim believer, while Sajid javid is not - and that's not taqqiyah on Sajid's part.

Excellent point, Cronos. Always good to see a situation (or a person) from a completely different point of view.

well, it was just additional information. I don’t know why Sajid javid wasn’t at the banquet, or if he was even invited. But I don’t know and I would rather wait and watch before commenting.

If you read the story linked in post 18, it seems Javid is a Muslim by birth, but has pretty strong Judeo-Christian values. I have known Muslims like him. They used to be pretty common, even in the middle east. But now their voices are drown out, or silenced by extremists. Like a “pro-life democrat”, they either join the extremists or hide in silence.

I don’t know too much about Javid, but I agree with you about him.
