Agreed, either lock them away or don’t. Releasing someone you think belongs in prison and giving them even more reason to hate society from their POV is hardly sane policy. Its feeling good rather than doing good.

I’m suggesting that letting someone with known antisocial issues out on the street and relying on meds to keep them in line might not work.

Chemical castration is generally considered reversible when treatment is discontinued. They are not going to be on parole forever.
This allows offenders to get out of prison early, palm their meds and keep right on offending, being more careful not to get caught.

I don’t disagree about the volume and if there is ample evidence, the penalty is justified. I have read in the past of students being 12 years old. One online is from San Antonio. Research shows Letourneau’s student was 12 also. One in Arizona was arrested for something involving a female student. That is based on cursory research.
Agree, Chem castration is REVERSIBLE when they stop taking the drug. Then Rape was never about sex, it’s about Power and Dominance. So a Broom handle will work just as well.

Definitely. A man/person doesn’t need a functioning “organ” to rape someone. If sexual violence is his goal, any object will do.
