Interesting you mention the 70 y/o teaching at the gym. I read an article, and I’m sure others here did as well, about gyms hiring personal trainers who are 50-65 because the folks who are starting to work out and need some instruction to get going don’t want to be “trained” by someone in their 20’s or 30’s who is likely more interested in staring at their phone than helping them.
Additionally, the article said they are having a hard time finding people to hire, so anyone who is a lifetime fitness enthusiast might enjoy this as a part time job!
21 minutes? Was she waiting for a blood transfusion?
Glad I don't live in your house..........
I’m glad you don’t too. Love your screen name, though. Just piled Tabasco on my yummy thick organic veggie soup lunch.
Here’s an article about my friend, Betty Lindberg, who ran her 30th Peachtree Road Race last year at 93. PRR was the first race she ran at 63. Betty holds a number of national and international records for runners 90+.
Betty is a real inspiration to all of us at the Atlanta Track Club. We all want to “grow up” to be Betty.
This July 4th will be my 21st PRR. I ran my first at 50 y/o. Not bad for a 73 y/o mother of six.
*** “Geez, really? You would do a 103 yr old woman?” ***
I’m gonna ask Laz on the Ouija board....
Answer “Who hasn’t?” She is HOT!
(OK I made some of that up)
(Really I made all of it up)
(OK Now I feel Bad)
