Might be one in the Geneva conventions.
Geneva Convention IV Article 16, second paragraph, of the 1949 Geneva Convention IV provides: As far as military considerations allow, each Party to the conflict shall facilitate the steps taken to protect [the killed] against ill-treatment.
That being said, these are the animals that have dragged American through the streets and hung the remains on bridges.
Some of the witnesses were in the photos too!!!!
It will take decades of exemplary behavior before JAG and military flag officers can be trusted as being loyal to the U.S. I hope someday in the future that we can begin to count those decades.
Mike Rowe is almost a dead ringer
Rowe is a lot taller. Wahlberg and Gallagher are not big guys.
What. The prosecutor suppressed evidence and lied about the video as well as stalled the investigation. The and his CO’s should all be dishonorable discharged!
The penalty for this malfeasance should be the same as the accused would have received had he been found guilty
His whole team posed with the dead fighter, not just Gallagher. But Gallagher was the only one charged.
I’ve seen Eddie Gallagher’s wife on TV before, arguing for his release. She was/is a great, well-polished advocate for him.
The catch-all: Conduct Unbecoming.
ISIS are international terrorists. They wear no uniforms and they are not part of a legit military. They do not abide by the the Geneva Convention and they use terror and crimes against humanity as weapons against the regular military and also the civilian populations they conquer.
They are international criminals and laws pertaining to pirates apply to them, not the Geneva Convention
These particular ISIS were the worst of the worst dead enders making their last stand and they intended to die rather than be captured by the troops and civilian populations they committed war crimes against
The penalty for posing with a dead body should be your superior officer walking over and saying “cut it out”.
Unless things have changed since I left in 1987, enlisted pay grades are called rate. Rank is for commissioned officers.
