If your ancestors have been in the country long enough, they owned slaves or were slaves or both, especially if they lived in the South.
McConnell is actually from Alabama, so sure, as with Obama, McCain, Jimmy Carter, and John Edwards, at least one of McConnell's ancestors probably owned slaves.
That's likely to be true of Bill Clinton, too, though it never turned up in the news.
It would be surprising if NBC devoted time on its 22 minutes of nightly news to this McConnell slave owner nonsense.
It doesn't matter, though, whatever shows up on the website eventually makes its way to cable news.

Only ten Republicans are known to have owned slaves. Democrats owned the rest. After Republicans won the 1st Democrat-Republian war at the cost of many lives to end Democrat slavery it’s clear that Democrats need all thier wealth confiscated and their voting rights voided.
