May HASHEM cause the enemies who rise up against us to be struck down before them. May the Holy One, Blessed is He, preserve and rescue our fighting men from every trouble and distress and from every plague and illness, and may He send blessing and success in their every endeavor.

May He lead our enemies under their sway and may He grant them salvation and crown them with victory. And may there be fulfilled for them the verse: For it is Hashem, your G-d, Who goes with you to battle your enemies for you to save you.

Howdy, Kathy.

Yes, it’s been a long day but a good one. It wasn’t all that busy at the museum and with four of us working, I got to do a couple of tours. A few folks wanted to just wander on their own.

Came home and rushed through getting the cats dealt with, then went to a friend’s house for a BBQ and evening of visiting.

Darn the luck on rain up there but at least you can breathe easier today. Seeing a little blue sky for a change must have been nice after days of thick smoke.

We’re waiting to see if we’ll get any rain from the remnants of TS Barry.

Believe it or not, it wasn’t really crowded. I managed to keep Gizmo in tact with the leash and rather than just walk all the way through the bushes fighting wasps and knats and such we sat on a number of places at the beach. We had a great time.

Wow, you got lucky. I figured you’d had hordes to deal with since it was the weekend.
Good move avoiding the bushes. Gnats are a nuisance and you sure don’t need to get stung by wasps!

We finally saw some blue sky today here in town, but the fires could really use a bunch of rain.
