I don't want to be a contrarian here but you would be shocked by how many women evangelicals are pro abortion. I know a couple, one a preacher's wife the other actually a female minister.

I don't doubt it for a second. Deleting a person too often solves so many sticky social problems. Ugh! If people could make a living lying to themselves, they'd be trillionaires.

BTW, the US states that banned abortion of late are not majority Catholic by far; FWICS they are majority evangelical, and said evangelicals were supportive of those bans.

Ireland, a majority Catholic country, voted to legalize abortion last year by voting in a referendum for what is now the 36^th Amendment to their constitution, a scant 34⅔ years after they had voted for the complete opposite thing in the referendum for their constitution’s former 8^th Amendment (which protected the life of the unborn baby).

But how did we get to this point? Oh maybe one deviant Judge brought it to us. The same one that told us it was immoral to executer murderers but it was just fine to kill innocent babies.

Yep but they are present in every evangelic group. I have no idea why they confided that to me but they did, when they would never announce that publicly.

I suspect it was some proggy that decided that the best way to poison the Trump administration and therefore get rid of his hatred attempts to enforce border security was to get the GOP to be seen passing no exceptions abortion legislation. They said at the time that the only reason it was written the way it was, was to force a Supreme Court case. Last I checked, writing bad legislation in order to get a court ruling was a Lefty thing to do, not a Republican thing to do.

I would prefer some regulation of abortion rather than no regulation of abortion. At 21% support the side that embraces no exception abortion will lose, and if you believe that God will rain down judgment for some exceptions, in a country that fails to follow His law with respect to the fate of rapists, what do you believe God would do in the case of a minority of 21% that so overplayed their hand that there comes to be no regulation?

You aren’t specific what you mean by “regulation of abortion”. That’s like saying murder should be regulated.

Also, please don’t mischaracterize what I said, not to mention come back at me with a red herring. As far as abortionists and rapists, if those chosen to govern fail to punish and are unrepentant of that, then the judgment will be sure; it’s never failed, and woe to those on the wrong side.

There are many things I think we can agree on and this is not one of them. Hopefully we can all come together to support the president who has put his reputation, life, and fortune on the line to support this country. He made our fight his fight, and boy is he paying a price for that.
