That's funny right there, I don't care who you are.
The EU does not have enough ships to provide a continuous presence in the Gulf.
ESPECIALLY when Iran knows none of them will fire in anger.

By taking a “hands off” approach, Trump is now exposing the feckless EU population that their leadership is leading them to hell in a handbasket.

Apparently, PM May refused President Trump’s offer to help last week. Good! And I do hope President Trump tells them that they are on their own.

That answers the question I've been posing the last couple of days: where is the EU? Allowing a member state to be abused is not a very convincing argument for the Remainers, especially when that member state got into the mix enforcing an EU sanction. The EU does reportedly have naval assets capable of the mission according to
THIS: some 31 destroyers, 93 frigates, 48 corvettes, and 128 patrol vessels. Readiness, however, may turn out to be not up to the mission, but whose fault is that?
The United States has a longstanding commitment to freedom of navigation, to be sure, and has the assets in place to participate. But it isn't, and shouldn't be, our show.

I'll bet that the 9th Century knuckledragging pig fornicators in Tehran are shaking in their boots knowing that the Europeans are on the case.

"It is with a heavy heart that we are announcing this increased international presence in the Gulf, ..." Oh please, some one in Britain get that super sensitive
guy some Kleenex to cry on. It's terrible that his feelings
are hurt and his "heart is heavy."
