Oddly, she is exactly the ‘kind’ of Democrat their party needs now. And yet, they will dare her to lay in front of the tank so they can roll over her.
Heads need to roll. The DOJ needs go into storm trooper mode and reign in every one involved. Unfortunately,I think the list is very long and have the richest and most powerful people in the world on it.
She's a person. Like you or me. It is just as possible for their to be a few good Democratic Party aligned people as it is for their to be a few bad Republican Party aligned people.

Anyway, I think there are a much higher percentage of good ‘democrats’ and bad ‘republicans’ in our nation than we would like to admit.
It’s not the ‘parties’ that are the problem, it’s the people.

Drugs, immigrants, refugees, wealthy retirees, sea port, vacation center. They hardly had a chance to not be on the take.
IMHO, all of our 'states' are on the 'take'. The corruption goes from top to bottom. We all see it, we know it, we just don't want to admit that it is us, and not the real estate.

The percentage of good people among democratic office holders is, I am sure, very low. That said, this Democratic Senator looks spot on upon the issue.
I think, however, you may be referring to the common voter.
I would put the percentage of “good” Republican office holder at the federal level at under 10%. I suspect that the percentage at the state level varies from state to state.
As far as common Republican voters, I am sure that they are all sinners.

2. Broadcast the fact that she did it.
3. Record all her phone calls. Put the odd ones on the internet.
