You could shutter all the USG agencies and we’re still headed over a financial cliff! Discretionary spending, that is spending to run the government to do both good & bad things is like only 30% of the budget. The rest of the budget is entitlements, payments on debt and other “have-to-pay”. Entitlements etc. are rising not falling with every budget, someday it will be the whole budget.
And yes “The Department of Peace” is stupid, wasteful & irrational on a dozen different levels! It’s “high intellect” for Rat-Land!
The Natural Law Party, also, had in its platform the creation of The Department of Peace.
My mind is made up....ANYTHING THE LEFT PROPOSES is going to be a detriment to society.
