We already have a “Department of Peace”.
It’s called the Department of Defense.

Let’s replace the Dept of Defense with the Dept of Peace, and immediately see the whole world devolve into a chaotic world full of wars, minor to major, and eventually, the U.S. would also be destroyed.
Why is it that there are so many idiots in government, who think the opposite of what should happen?
Indiana Senator Vance Hartke proposed this in 1970 and planned to model it after the Peace Corp. The idea went no where and Hartke, a far left liberal was defeated by RINO Dick Lugar in the 1976 Senate Election.
We actually have a Department of Peace. It goes by the name of the Department of Defense. The American GI is the greatest peacemaker the world has ever known.
We do have a “Department of Peace’’ Ms(or gender neutral proun;insert here) Williamson. It’s the US Military. It’s worked pretty well at getting rid of the dirt bags of the world.

I propose a Dept. of Eliminating Departments. 17 Intelligence Agencies? That’s insane!
The list of departments to eliminate is over 300, and could be as many as 500.
