What’s shocking about it? Wayne LaPierre warned Trump over the phone. Trump did not campaign on red flag laws or universal background checks in 2016. If he had Hillary would be president.
Well that could define any Trump voter, what could possibly go wrong?
That is the beauty of it, they don't have to investigate that just react to the charge no proof required.
So like the democratic black vote, we have no place to go? Good strategy there Sal.

Don't know whether it's my old age or my advanced paranoia but I definitely missed that excellent connection... Thanks... You gave me a good start to the day...
Now I've got to put the caps back on all my scopes and binoculars... Every time I open the safe I feel someone might be watching me... /s
Then I agree that you should vote Democrat or not vote at all. </s>
I will vote but I can't know if it was counted or counted directly, 100% mail in in Oregon.
I believe Trump attracted many many voters that were no in the habit of voting and a good number of disgruntled democrats. The danger is those voters will not come out for him again, not that loyal patriots will abandon Trump and vote Democrat, they likely will not choose to vote at all.
Well here's the thing. The vast majority of Americans aren't FReepers. If their son or daughter is gunned down, they're not going to be thinking about the 2nd Amendment. They're going to be asking how can we prevent this from happening again?
So nothing wrong with POTUS throwing a bone. And he can't do this via EO like he did with the bump stock thing. Trump always listens to all sides, he's going to put the onus on Congress, they're not going to pass s--t because the right will melt the phone lines and the left needs the issue, and even if it is miraculously passed and signed by POTUS, it'll get shot down by the courts.
I’m with you on that.
Well it took about two weeks but here you go.

Apparently the flood of responses concerning the inherent flaws regarding "red flag laws" made it to the top.
Since the only ones still talking about this are a handfull of proglib candidates I am getting a hint of "two-way street" being realized by just about everybody.
