Clinton associate James McDougal died in isolation in prison of a “heart attack.” He had recently said: I’m sick of lying. I’m going to give the evidence and tell the truth.

He was possibly given a drug that would be absolutely wrong for a heart patient, by injection. Another story said his injection was to make him urinate more. Controversies never ended. As with many Clinton mysteries.

Lesson: Never say “I’m going to the authorities and tell all about my opponent. The truth is coming out now.” Fatal mistake. Wasn’t a good idea for shopkeepers who said “Protection money? I am a free man in my new country and I will not bow to Al Capone.”

It happened in a federal facility on Trump and Barr’s watch. That doesn’t make them look very competent or rigorous in demanding top security for Epstein

Ok, let’s get substantive.

I’ve been paying attention to politics and crap from alphabet agencies for nearly 40 years.

The ‘investigation’ will go like this:

...investigate...find out the guards on his unit are all unionized.

Union will state ‘yeah, mistakes were made, we’ll be sure to do a better job next time’.

End of investigation.

In a way, it makes sense that he wouldn’t be on suicide watch, since, after all, his first ‘attempt at suicide’ was simply a botched murder attempt. This time they didn’t fail.

They should have had him on homicide watch instead.

If Barr was on top of things, he would have been monitoring the Epstein confinement situation like a hawk. He would have known how Epstein was being guarded and he would have insisted on 24 hour surveillance by proven trustworthy guards and staff

The buck stops with Barr, or even Trump, for taking their eye off the ball

This guy was the most sensitive prisoner in federal custody and they let this happen

Nothing at all.

The outcome is predetermined, regardless of who is AG.

Been watching this too many years.

Just depends on how long they want the investigation to last. The outcome has already been written.
