Speaking of the farm economy, how will farmers farm or get their products to market without fuel?

That’s no “my” problem says the anti-fuel folks. Who needs farmers, when all my food comes from the grocery store, they’ll say.

how they expect the farmers to farm or get their products to market without fuel?

Pot Pot solved this problem by emptying out the cities at gunpoint to make everyone work on the farm collectives. Cambodia's economy became the greenest in the world, however they ran out of bullets killing the complainers.

These maniacs need to be stopped by any means necessary. They mean to enslave us with their neo-Marxist, socialist agenda. Our Founders would have strung everyone of these bastards up. They are a clear and present danger to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

The democrats have no problem with killing as many people as needed. May be with trains to death camps or just denying medical care. They do this in other socialist countries.

Jim, Jim, Jim, much to logical. Must let emotion rule, not logic. They don’t believe in God or miracles, yet they rely heavily upon them for their policy decisions.

Eco energy can at best meet 20% of the demand.

Imagine every month with a 24 day power outage where you also can’t drive or use gas for heat or cooking.

That’s the reality.

So yeah. The whole misbegotten plan has been “founded” on bad science.

But anyhow Jim — do YOU have any ideas about how to get the tempest out of the FR teapot?

A sugar packet I saw decades ago had the memorable rhyme on it (well, memorable to me — I still remember it): “He who has something to sell, and goes and whispers in a well, is not as apt to make the dollars, as he who climbs a tree and hollers!”

What if... now this is going into dream land, true, but still what if... FR had a cable channel, or even a feature on an existing cable channel (FOX?). In this case, it’s not dollars but sanity we’re after here.

At some point, philosophical purity would have to bow to the desire to get the message popularized. And if it means weathering the challenges of being a cable channel, or a feature on a cable channel — it does. God never promised that bearing a cross for the good of mankind would be easy peasy. He did promise that it would be both possible, and worth it.

Ethanol has been around for decades, and in all that time engineers and manufacturers haven’t been able to build an engine that isn’t wrecked by ethanol.

Wish someone could finally figure it out.

What products? There won’t be any farm products because of the Green New Deal, they want to eliminate cattle and now the environmentalist wackos are warning that growing grain is destroying the planet.

Without oil or gas there won’t be any product.

Any means but... rethinking the philosophy of FR, or at least its founding some kind of less-restrictive offshoot? Is that means out of bounds? To deliberately let the tempest out of the teapot into the parlor?

It's an ideological war. The Founders would have pooh-poohed such crazy opposition because they believed so in God (even the ones who weren't formally Christian).

"Ethanol has been around for decades, and in all that time engineers and manufacturers haven’t been able to build an engine that isn’t wrecked by ethanol."

NOT, NOT, NOT true. Today's flex-fuel engines can run on 100% ethanol with no problem. And older engines could, if the correct gaskets were swapped out. EtOH's sole problem was its deleterious effect on certain polymers.

Will they go back to sailing ships to bring us out chinajunk?

Oh, I know, certain entities will still be able to use these nasty fuels and AOC will decide who that is.

Look at any dystopian movie about the future which involves two classes separated by miles and you’ll have the Leftists view of how things should be.

There WILL be flying cars but most people will walk.

That’s why some refer to this Cortez plan as being similar to Pol Pot’s of Cambodia where millions died.

The Pol Pot regime had no idea how to feed the masses and left agriculture up to those that knew even less. City people were expelled into the country with crude tools, if any at all, and expected to grow food on land that was not at all suitable.

Someone needs to pin down these dems and get them to give a workable plan that answers all the questions. That’s the job of the media, but they will not do it. The media will be among the elite and get whatever food crumbs still exist.

The problem with the useful idiots that vote for this (if it ever comes to a public vote via a campaign promise) is the absolute ignorance of anyone voting for it. For example, look in the room you are currently in. And list 10 things in that room, including the paint, fixtures, utilities and all other objects and tell me which ones were not produced using fossil fuels or delivered using fossil fuels.

In other words, whatever exists in that room today will likely not be available after these jerks take full control. Those voting for it are not capable of thinking this far ahead.

The why would Bommer say this?

With Ethinol of course. Best dam fuel on the plant....until it wreaks your engine

Surely she couldn't be disingenuous could she?
