Most of us are old enough to remember paper routes, guys shoveling winter snow off sidwalks and driveways for money,guys washing windshields while others checked oil and filled the gas tanks of a car at the gas station, and especially young guys who mowed lawns and picked up yard waste and trash for money.
Around 1970 or so you had to start a contract with a lawn care place that soon had Spanish speaking workers and a long trailer behind a pickup for 2-4 mowers and leaf blowers.
The young guys? Watching reading comic books and then doing video games as soon as they were invented. Pass the Cheetohs and Dorritos, eh?

There are a lot of elites out there who don’t have kids or are out of touch with kids. My sister was wondering how my husband and I were leaving town for three weeks— who would care for our pets? I said I know middle school kids and high school kids. I volunteered for years and got to know local families. Kids need money and the chance to be trusted with some responsibility. But if you are in the Beltway and hire adults for personal chores and such, you don’t know that.
At least in this town you can get illegals to do your lawn or you can get local services to do it. It costs marginally more to hire the legitimate guy and he does a much better job.
They are really only qualified to transport and clean portable toilets at outdoor events-—if closely supervised.
Funny, he is not commenting on the landscapers who hire these illegals. These guys charge real money for their weekly services, pay their wetbacks off in cash, keep three or four legals, sometimes relatives, on the books for tax purposes, and walk away with nice profit. I thought Dems hated corrupt businessmen.

The Bi-Coastal elites have made it abundantly clear they believe the U.S. is theirs to rule over, and the remainder in “fly-over” country must be replaced due to their intransigence.
Pay more. Americans will do it.
This jerk probably doesn’t even do his own hiring or paying.
Otherwise he’d know the illegals are demanding $20 per hour
to mow lawns these days.
Plenty of Americans are willing to do it for that wage, too.
I worked for a lawn service company during my high school years. It was 100% Americans. Pocket money? It was more than that to me. It was my summer job and I depended on it.
I don’t have a lawn so I don’t need them.

You are blessed. It is my own fault I can't afford to get out of my liberal infested (84%) area in my retirement.
