I’ve always mowed my own lawn. When I was a kid, I mowed the lawn at home and picked up some spending money by mowing a couple of neighbors’ lawns.
Is that opportunity available for American kids today? That is, for the ones who actually go outside and want to do something besides hang out?
DemocRAT strategy:
1) Make minimum wages so high that no business can afford to hire.
2) Push the narrative that there are many jobs Americans won’t do.
3) Look the other way when businesses hire illegals under the table, thereby avoiding both taxes and minimum wage laws.
4) Claim the economy would fall apart without a constant influx of illegal aliens.
5) Encourage illegals to vote.
6) Win.
There are a lot of white dudes mowing lawns around here. $75 is a nice chunk of change for 15-20 minutes of riding around on a mower and an occasional quick sweep with a leaf blower.

Americans are only willing to do it if you PAY them. My lawn service mows weekly. 14 years ago when we built, we paid $40 a pop. (South Central PA) Now it’s up to $58. That’s a bit over $1 a year increase. I personally think the Congress critter prefers illegals simply BECAUSE it’s illegal. You can’t be a genuine, committed democRAT and a God fearing person both. The Rats booed God OUT of their Party’Convention a decade ago. I’m sure there’s video of it.

Many Americans would rather just get government subsidies than work. I have a restaurant and I can no longer hire Americans to wash dishes or cook. The government made it just as rewarding to have kids and not support them. It’s disgusting!
They should all be arrested (illegals and employers who hire illegals knowingly).

I used to be in charge of mowing the lawn at our previous house because it was fun. Just like Oliver on “Green Acres”! But hubby won’t allow me to here because of the incline. A neighbor used to tie his gas push mower to a rope to mow the incline.
Good luck finding an American to do labor . There are some like myself but most are into the welfare game especially if they have kids.
