A University of Illinois math major may find himself adding up the years in prisonUnless he put a neck in the other end of the noose, years in prison is completely absurd.
He looks like a complete freak, but his silly stunt deserves some community service and a fine to cover the cost of the investigation. Oh, and kick him out of school too. He's a creepy mess and the other students shouldn't have to put up with him.

When I was in college in the mid 60s a few students in the dorms would make nooses just to illustrate their noose skills. It simply took the right kind of rope, the skill, and a bit of time. Some said that it needed thirteen loops, signifying bad luck. I even tired making one once, and it didn’t look good at all. There was never a bit of racial intent in me, or anyone there who tried it.

Who knew it was a felony?I had no idea hanging a noose made of string could be a felony hate crime. So, basically being a jerk and an immature asshole is a felony. Absolutely ridiculous.

Just to be clear, the felonious nooses I was talking about were halloween decorations. No jerk or immature assholery involved.
