Actually, this means the little gun shops will likely get more sales.

Does the ban on sale of ammo apply to just civilians or does the ban apply to police, secret service, and military as well?

They like to hunt ducks too.

Show where open carry has been “banned” by Walmart.

They are in business to make money or go bankrupt. You and I should have no "say" in Walmart's actions. And if they don't want to sell cakes to gays, that's THEIR business too. You and I only have a "say" with our pocketbook. If you disagree, go shop somewhere else. But we should not be taking away WalMart's "right" to in THEIR business any way they want. I think they are making a mistake ... but it is THEIRS to make!

On a personal note, will I continue to carry CC in my local WalMart? Sure, if I do it correctly, who will know but me? I wouldn't open carry and I'm frankly a little suspicious of people who do. Sure, they have the "right" ... but why flaunt it. If I'm a bad guy doing cc, the guy with the gun is the first one to put down. It makes no sense to "telegraph" your defenses with open carry.. doing so is an offensive action. I agree with WalMart and Kroger on their "open carry". I don't think it is necessary to "flaunt" the fact you have a gun. The whole purpose of CC is surprise. And walking around with a (legal) gun in plain view is just showing off. I don't mind 50 people in my vicinity doing cc, it bothers me that ONE person in my vicinity would display the weapon. I don't want to be anywhere near the first person that will be shot, and I'm frankly a little suspicious of the mentality of a person who has to flaunt a firearm.

Wal Mart’s stock was said to go up to an all time high after the first announcement. Our boycott, righteous action as it is, is not going to work.

Now the other virtue signaling companies will say, like Nike and Gillette, whoopee the leftist stuff works and we can try it, too.

By the way, any business or large corporation in America that thinks contributing to the Dems is clever, wait to see your tax rates and the government watchdog regulations coming after the Dems win. God forbid. Company guys will say “But wait, I kissed your rear ends and said all the pro-abortion, pro-gay stuff you wanted.” (Said in 2021 to Secretary of the Treasury Bernie Sanders.)

Every contribution dollar from any free enterprise in the USA should go to Trump and the true conservatives for 2020.

"One thing’s for sure ... this will piss off a LOT of hunters."

I live in a remote part of AR. Lots of hunters and shooters. Walmart is punishing law abiding shoppers from buying a lawful product over a political statement. What fools.

Picked up 600 rds of 9 and 250 rds of.380 yesterday. A friend also got 600 rds of 9. Store clerk was quite annoyed at the Wal-Mart decision. They will still sell “large” rifle ammo but not 5.56.

I went to Walmart today and it seemed every other person was wearing a pro-2a shirt. Don’t mess with Oklahoma.

Hope so. Never was a Walmart fan. I bought ammo there before.

This action will create new stores say called Guns n Ammo.
Walmart customers will know that the company does not support them. They will start buying products elsewhere. Other stores will prosper.
