Tech work sucks and is getting suckier.
Anyone who’s ever been forced to kowtow to some unheard of foreign holiday at the workplace should remember your preach about “stepping up your game.”
At one point the crowd was screaming, “USA! USA!” It was great.
“I heard 50,000 plus.”
The capacity is 50,000. Some empty seats throughout, and a section just next to the podium — for security, I expect. I’m guessing 45,000 attendees. Heard Steny Hoyer was there.
“Indian-Americans tend to have a lot of Republican characteristics.”
And work ethic.
“goodbye STEM jobs for Americans!”
If American schools were turning out excellent, or even competent, graduates this might not be an issue. Sure, some graduate with high grades, but a lot of that is thanks to dumbing down across the board.
“the Philippines is the big loser here.”
I’ve worked with Filipinos and Indians, and prefer the Indians. It was about attitude more than job performance. Especially Filipino women, whom I supervised. Trouble.
