I've had professional relationships with at least 5 Nobel laureates in the sciences. Bright, but not beyond a lot of other bright people.

That said, all of them were better scientists than people like Mann. Beyond that, what credibility does Gore have in science?

My point is just that it is more than ridiculous having all of these self-appointed experts on climate science (e.g. Gore, AOC, Schumer, Obama, etc.) making proclamations about things they have no definitive scientific understanding of.

As far as people like Mann go, if you are looking for examples of conflicts of interest in science, I would nominate them as poster worthy examples.
