You have no clue what I am saying.
My POINT is that people often maim and kill for no logical or discernible reason. We are as humans supposed to be able to reason before we act and not indulge in behavior clearly uncivilized or illegal when it comes to interacting to other people.
Animals to a one with so few exceptions they are not worth mentioning, never act out of anger, bias, envy or any of the other emotions which drive us to violence.
You get behind them then use your arm to put him in a head lock with your elbow under their chin, keeping their face above water then start swimming a side stroke back to safety.....
The main thing is to not let them grab hold of you....

I know you mean well and probably even believe what you say. However you are ill informed on this subject to the point of being woefully ignorant.
You might want to consider being tested for rabies.
My thinking as well, but suspect it would be hard when they are flailing about.
