One size does not fit all; and, you do not need to be telling me how to raise my children any more than I will be telling you how to raise yours. I came to you because I thought there would be some decent conversation. You never responded to my points except in the most general manner.

I see that there may be personal issues you have with my points. Sorry about that. FWIW, I respond to your points in a “general manner” because that is how the state should respond. When it comes to the state, it SHOULD be one size fits all. That is how the constitution works. That is how the laws work and that should be how providing services to individuals should work. And the only services the state should be profiding is things like roads, military, police, courts, etc. So we all stand in the same line to pay our fines. It should be one size fits all. And the government should never be “giving” anything to an individual. They should only be offering generic services. The one exception may be the right to an attorney when you can’t afford one in a criminal case.

All of my positions on this come from my core values regarding why I think government exists in the first place, particularly our FedGov.
