I had severe psoriasis-like eczema on my face for many years.

I used “Packers Pine Tar Soap” on my face and scalp; and the hair with the scalp. It’s a coal-black bar of soap with pine tar as it’s active ingredient.

Pine or coal tar is the active in the Neutrogena dandruff shampoo.

Packers helped with my ruff red skin.

I still use the Neutrogena dandruff shampoo in the shower and sometimes wash my face with it as well.

The age is not remembered: OTC drugs and children. Finding a bar of Ex-Lax, this child consumed the entire bit, thinking it was chocolate. No punishment from parents. Inflicted entirely too much of my own. However, the lesson learned and the adventure was never repeated.
