Think for a minute before typing.

Think? I spent 22 mos as one of Uncle Sam's Misguided Children. (You know who you are when they kick you out of a perfectly helicopter and make you walk home over and over.)
After fifty years of "thinking" even if you do sooth your cowardly heart because they're volunteers,if your not willing to be first out the door you're a chickenhawk.

Kick Turkey out of NATO.

The number of U.S. personnel killed in the Syrian Civil War is 8, and two of those deaths were not related to combat.

Did not think of that. Great move if true. How could anyone object? Turkey invades Syria and releases hordes of illegals into Europe. The "sick man of Europe" has always been persona non grata, this will make them look even worse.

“President Recep Tayyip Erdogan vowed to send ‘millions’ of Syrians to Europe”

Angela Merkin would welcome them.

He’s already doing it.

So what have they got to loose?

To repeat a key question:

Do we really want to see thousands and thousands of murderous moslem butchers murdering thousands and thousands of other murderous moslem butchers??

IMHO, it is a win-win...

Agreed. I was in Israel last week and I couldn’t believe the dysfunctionality of the PA (which receives millions if not billions of dollars from aid agencies). Their headquarters in Bethlehem are beautiful...but the towns are disgusting, foul and dirty. They could at least get off their plump posteriors and pick up the garbage they throw in the streets.

That’s idiotic. The people he said he would “unleash” are simple Syrians he’s currently helping, to the tune of over 3 million on Turkish soil. He would tell them “you all are on your own” like we now do illegals coming to our own border. If they leave and head toward Europe, so be it. You’re a little drama queen, aren’t ya? 👸🏼

The land Israel was fashioned from belonged to no country.

Palestine didn’t even exist.

He doesn’t- he wants the Europeans to take their ISIS-recruited citizens back.

There was war in the early 1920’s and the Turks came out on top. Nasty stuff.

Palestine was part of the Moslem Ottaman Empire.

“Palestinians” call themselves Philistines to this day I believe according to Arabic language books.

Erdogan’s saying essentially the same thing as Trump:

_Europe Won’t Help, and We’re Not Going to Hold Thousands of ISIS Fighters at Guantanamo Bay

CNS ^ | October 8, 2019 | Patrick Goodenough
The United States for months has been urging European countries to repatriate captured ISIS fighters and their families from northeastern Syria, to no avail, and the U.S. is not about to incarcerate them in Guantanamo Bay, President Trump said on Monday. “We’re not bringing 50, 60, 70 – or even 10,000 people to Guantanamo Bay in Cuba,” Trump told reporters at the White House. “We’re not going to be paying them for the next 50 years – or paying to take care of them for the next 50 years.” He characterized the European response to Washington’s appeals as another example...

There was a very nasty war involving Greeks and Turks and I assume Kurds in the early 1920s.

Meh.. These cultures have been at if for centuries. Not The United States’ problem; shouldn’t have been there in the first place. The “kurds” are not one people. The “kurds” are many, many factions. Some commie, others anti-christian; others straight sunni...

Besides which, this is about pipelines; not kurds. This is about KSA and Quatar threatening the petro dollar if they don’t get their way. F both those countries, let them deal with it. 18 years of “incursions”. Let’s see Congress declare actual WAR; their damn job. Otherwise, I am with POTUS, bring the troops home.

said, "You KNOW just by being there Turkey wouldn’t do anything."

It would be so easy for European countries to replace our soldiers with theirs. Why do we have to protect Europe with our men?
