It is indeed inappropriate to call the PKK a terrorist group.
The Kurds are freedom fighters and helped us a great deal in Iraq.

You are so wrong, its funny.
The PKK is not all of the Kurds. Most all Kurds are Muslims, though.
What you are saying is effectively this in an American context:
It is indeed inappropriate to call the Animal Liberation Front a terrorist group.
The Americans are animal welfare supporters and helped us a great deal in the United Kingdom.

The Kurdistan "Workers" Party allegedly runs a lucrative heroin production and trafficking business.

Why should American troops protect drug traffickers?

As long as Americans WANT the drugs SOMEONE will grow/produce them: supply and demand.
It's a sad commentary that so many people want/need to be brain-blitzed. Too bad they don't find God.
Is that being naive?
To: ConservativeMind
They are terrorists in the same way the IRA were terrorists in Northern Ireland, Irgun were terrorists in Israel, and we were terrorists against the British - they are fighting a guerrilla war of liberation against an occupying force.

Life on Earth is a competition to acquire scarce resources. I don’t understand how people who use drugs can compete successfully and provide for their family. F**k the Kurds.

a. Life on Earth is a competition to acquire scarce resources. I dont understand how people who use drugs can compete successfully and provide for their family.
b. F**k the Kurds.a. Drug users CAN'T compete. They end up on the street.
b. Agreed. The Kurds are doing that to themselves. They can't get it through their heads that Syria, Iran, Iraq, Armenia and Turkey are NOT obligated to give them ONE inch of their lands.
The want a "Kurdistan" and they want it off the backs of five other countries.
AIN'T gonna happen.

I hate it when people want to self-govern. Where do they get these strange ideas.

This is the strategy Islam uses and La Reconquista in the southwest with the help of american politicians. Demographics to take over. Immigration, Sharia, illegals voting, more and more coming each day. the kurds have more of acclaims being in some areas for centuries.

The Kurds HAVE been self-governing. But THAT'S not the problem. THEY WANT LAND...and they want Turkey, Iran, Iraq, Armenia and Syria to GIVE THEM their lands so the Kurds can create their very own KURDISTAN.
The Kurds have been DEMANDING this for quite a while.
