So it’s all very well and good that Lindsey can get 50 or 51 senators to “condemn the House impeachment proceedings,” but..uh..so what? It carries no real weight to verbally, or even by vote, to condemn the House proceedings. Schiff will just go one doing his thing behind closed doors, and eventually they will vote to impeach. We already knew the Senate would never vote to convict (i.e., remove from office) Trump, so this pre-condemnation means nothing. But, go ahead Lindsey, you can appear like you’re doing something.

As far as I’m concerned, Lindsay Graham has already earned a big new honeymoon period for his defense of Justice Kavanaugh. He’s doing what he can and at the moment, has become a good ally of Donald Trump. Will it last? No one knows.
