Well, an argument can be made that congress is a natural alternative to the porn biz. I’m still waiting for the release of names off all the congress critters that used a secret taxpayer funded slush fund to pay off all those sexual harassment claims. Release it already.
I'm wondering what else is lurking beneath the surface that would make someone resign from Congress after less than ten months.
I knew there was a good reason not to look at Dem websites. Or into garbage dumpsters. Or sewage pipe outlets at treatment centers.

I must admit: I’m surprised. Things that would destroy a Republican seem to enhance a Democrat’s image. I figured she’d be there for life if she wanted it. But she blinked.
There might be some Democrats that will spotlight the double-standard that long-serving Democrat men have engaged in such behavior without much damage to their careers. But I’m nit holding my breath.

Actually, we would be better off if she stayed in office.
Now California Governor Newsom will appoint someone to fill her term. This person then will have a leg up in the 2020 election especially in a strong Democrat district.
If she had remained in office, she would have been a week candidate for reelection being under investigation and disgraced publicly. A Republican would have had a better chance at the seat.
Governors appoint Senate vacancies. Not House vacancies. The House seat can only be filled by a special election.
