We did it. It wasn’t easy, but it was WORTH IT in the end!
The solution is to have two school systems - one controlled by liberals - one controlled by traditional conservative Americans.
Sending our children to far left union controlled indoctrinators is a form of violence to our children.
So we surrender the public schools and act as if the FEW children who go the other route won’t be devastated by the voting of the others who were indoctrinated and YOUR kids and all the others in private or home schools will be f..ed anyway in the long run

See “Red for Ed” in Indiana today. Where the schools shut down so teachers can lay siege to the legislature and demand more money. The “Red for Ed” organization committee has even come up with a list of free child care centers where parents can send their kids for the day because the teachers and schools are shirking their responsibilities.

My friends yawned when I told them. They wonder why their kids are out of control liberals.
It’s because people won’t face that our schools are liberal breeding grounds.
I don’t know who is going to preserve the US but this headline shows some serious obtuseness.
It’s an old dilemma. Progressives are by nature interested in wrecking things, overt control over other’s activities and raw power.
Conservatives, on the other hand delude ourselves into believing that things like “the rule of law” and “limits on judicial power” are real.
The cure will come when WE realize and accept that the rule of law is no longer a thing, and that conservatives, patriots, hell, Americans... Are not in control any more. You cannot continue to be a conservative when there is nothing left to conserve.
This Nation was founded by revolutionaries who wanted to institute those principles that the left has overthrown, and it can only be salvaged by revolutionaries who will overthrow the left, who have gained all the power necessary to subvert the Nation and its laws.
I’ve commented several times recently on “CWII” threads that no civil war is possible, because we are no longer one nation. There isn’t a core set of beliefs, morals, or laws that bind us together. No familial or ethnic ties, no common language. What was once a Nation has been balkanized by the left over decades. We (I) cannot find common ground with those who would deny my right to defend myself and my family, to own the fruit of my own labor, or to decide for myself what God to worship and how to worship Him. I won’t negotiate with them, and they will not tolerate my existence.
The only thing that is left (in my arrogant and unsubtle opinion) is to reorganize with our like-minded, and split the sheets, in the hope that won’t result in our being forced to kill them all.
Public schools were surrendered when they were allowed to unionize.
Have you tried battling the school board over curricula?

It’s okay to abandon the tax-funded, union-run government schools to the commies. We have an alternative, for which people have gone to jail fighting. The more of us that choose the alternative, the less competitive the government schools become.
Looks like it’s coming to that.

Our kid had fairness pounded into her head in pre and elementary school. Despite our saying and showing how life is not “fair” she’s getting in trouble in 5th grade for calling out teachers and the principal for favoring certain kids over others in various situations. We thank them each time for their social experiments.

As long as the teachers where my kids go to school remain non-Leftists, I’m fine. I was smart enough to ask them if they hated the country, and they replied “no”, all of them. Therefore my kids are safe from this left-wing crap.
