Personally, I want an official investigation by a government IG’s office to determine if the DIMocRATS in Congress’ “Impeachment Inquiries & unending investigations of the POTUS” can be PROSECUTED as criminal acts under the FRAUD, WASTE & ABUSE federal felony statutes.

I was thinking about that last night, as I was going home while the possibility of telling our Civilian workers that they are on furlough today.

The Whistleblower posters in the breakroom at work say that the statute exists to protect people who report waste, fraud, and abuse. We have plenty of that in Congress. While they are busy trying to frame the President with their theatrics, they are not passing the FY20 budget that they were supposed to pass months ago. When government goes into shutdown, government employees do not get paid during furlough, but they get back pay when they come back to work--clearly very wasteful of taxpayer moneys. Yesterday, I had a conversation with a young Chinese woman who was incredulous that government workers essentially get a free paid vacation during a shutdown.

Where do we report fraud, waste, and abuse committed by our elected representatives?

Nancy made a huge tactical error when she announced that the house was going forward with an impeachment inquiry before the ink was even dry on the dubious reports that there was a whistleblower. Granted, she was moving forward with a plan that was hatched at least as far back as 2017. Given that she had already lost on three house votes to move forward with impeachment, it looks like she was desperate to have any excuse to push impeachment, and this fake whistleblower must have looked like the perfect opportunity. She clearly did not count on the President releasing the phone call transcripts; that cut all the credibility out of the shampeachment before the first “witness” was even called. And things have only gone downhill for the DemocRATS ever since.

If I were Peloza I would chuck the whole thing, hunker down and go for “sauve qui peut “. 2020 will be their “posiden adventure” year and they will need to save as many people as possible.

That’s why it needs to go to the Senate. A real trial will expose yhe lying and real corruption- the Democrats.

One of the interesting things I’ve noticed was when the impeachment was first announced by Pelosi at that press conference some of my liberal friends were all over Facebook and Twitter about how it was finally time and trouble we’re gone soon, all of a sudden the same people refuse to even acknowledge it is going on.

So I give this prediction at 80% confidence of being voted down in the House and 20% they are silly enough to let it go to the Senate.

I think you are grossly underestimating the vindictiveness of the bat shit crazy Democrats. They will pass this Impeachment bill... with all but 3-4 Dems voting in favor.

They know this isn't going anywhere, but what else do they have? Nothing. And, bottom line, they still haven't gotten over the impeachment of Clinton. This is 'payback'.

And, it will be, forever, a stain on the legacy of Donald Trump. At least, in their crazy minds, and from the mouths of their media outlets for the rest of time.

The public in general saw through the first witness if not before. The witnesses actually confirmed this Inquiry was a hoax....and of course Shiffs behavior throughout this revealed clearly this was a one sided ordeal. Sheesh! He was a miserable failure!

If you heard the President today he can't wait for a trial. He's going to call Hunter Biden, Adam Schiff, the Whistleblower. He will get discovery on all of those people. Phone records, bank accounts etc.

I hope they are that stupid. It would be great to watch the trial backfire on the Dems.

If there's one thing I'm not afraid to wager on, it's the stupidity of Democrats.

These ridiculous hearings, despite their complete lack of evidence, have whipped their bat-shit crazy followers into a frenzy. If the House doesn't follow through now, these people will burn down the capital.

What do you think about the reports predicting that the House WILL vote for Impeachment, but then …. NOT send the physical Articles of Impeachment to the Senate, thereby preventing the start of a trial?

I think, it would be a interesting ploy.

I think that the Senate would hold acquittal vote due to the delay. Claiming a right to a speedy trial is foundational in the constitution and the delay imposed by the house is an attempt to deny the President's constitutional rights. I don't think they want Senators getting up in debate chastising the house for taking impeachment so lightly.

I also don't think you want to give the President the chance to campaign on a congress that is so do nothing, they can't even formulate fake articles of impeachment after voting to impeach!

The democrats are all corrupt. They all know exactly what Biden was doing in Ukraine and China. They thought President Trump was trying to weasel in on the money train. They thought if they just look under the covers they would find him trying to do the same things the corrupt democrats do and they could impeach him on it. It never occurred to them that the President was actually trying to root out corruption (or maybe it did and that frightened them so much they had no choice but to launch an investigation in the hopes of getting lucky). In either case they are left holding the bag. They have done nothing for 2 years and their inquiry is sadly lacking any direct evidence of anything other than the President was doing his job.

If I were them I would pass USMCA trade agreement to show they can actually get something done. Go home for Christmas recess. Tell Schiff and Nadler to keep their traps shut and stay off TV. In January pretend the whole thing never happened and go back to the general meme of Orange Man Bad.

Agree with all of that.

Pelosi has herself in a tough situation. She allowed this to begin. Their propaganda machine has convinced ALL of their faithful that it has been successful, even though it hasn’t. So, what do they do now?

I have a friend who is a total lib. She was 100% on the “Trump is Guilty” train. The one line I kept feeding her that she eventually admitted she couldn’t answer was: “Is it wrong to ask for an investigation of someone who is obviously corrupt”?

She kept coming back and telling me that, “Biden was investigated, and cleared... red herring”. I kept asking, “By whom?” “Did he, or did he not get paid for being on the board of Burisma?” “If it was 100% legit, why did he just resign”?

After beating on that, over and over, she finally conceded that, “Yea.. it looks bad for the VP’s son to be taking LOTS of money from a corrput Ukrainian company”.

Americans know what Bribery is, and isn’t. Asking for an investigation into 1 of 20 people who are running against you, is NOT bribery. Getting your son a $1M a year “do-nothing” job, IS bribery

Looks like Pelosi IS going to try the “Impeach and Hold” Strategy... I’ve thought this was likely from the first time I heard about it. What she fears most is: Trump being acquitted by the Senate during and election year. So, don’t let it happen?

What good could possibly come from sending the Articles to the Senate? They’ve done ALL they can do. From here on out, the process starts to become fair. Any evidence that comes out will only make the Dems look worse.

I can totally see her sitting on the articles forever.. They’ll come up with all kinds of excuses: Waiting to see the Senate Process, investigating new leads, Time to build a case for additional Articles... blah, blah. The Republicans will go ballistic, but the media won’t cover them. They’ll all just.. ‘move on’...

They want Impeachment hanging over Trump like a “Sword of Damocles” during the election.

I didn't think of this strategy. It would have played well if it was closer to the actual election. Now the longer she holds onto them and the longer President Trump stays in office the more the unwashed will learn that impeachment was only one step in a multi-step process to remove the President. They independents will see this for the BS it is.

I don’t know how many people are left who don’t understand what a partisan sham this is.

I think they just guaranteed Trump another 4 year term.

I’m reading places now that say the Senate can go ahead and convene a trial whether or not the Articles are sent over. Guess we’ll find out.
