That was my though, also.
He was instructed before testifying as to what he was supposed to say and what not to say, “or else.”
He wasn’t supposed to testify that President Trump had said “I want nothing. I want nothing. I want no quid pro quo...”
And now they are following through with their threat.

He/She made a point of picking out the part of the Wiki on Sondland which indicated that he was a Jew, of Jewish parents. He could easily have posted the more general information which begins the Wiki entry.
I don’t think that I’m the only one who noticed that; and I couldn’t help but suspect that they way it was done was not inadvertent.

Most of the me too stuff is pure manipulation and retribution for being disciplined, fired, not hired, etc etc etc.
Nevertheless there are clearly instances like Cosby drugging hundreds of women, Weinstein, epstein, etc that are totally legit. The Sondland stories fall right into that category. None of the women were trying to manipulate or gain an advantage by making their claims. And none of them are extravagant, fantastical or unbelievable stories. Just plain, mundane recitations of uncomfortably disgusting situations that many women have experienced themselves.
Sondland looks and sounds guilty. He is a dirtbag. No question in my mind about that. His anti trump testimony just demonstrates his waffling fickle lack of good character.

Sondland should have kept his mouth shut and none of this "goes around, comes around" multiple sexual harassment accusations would probably have come to light.
Instead of the spotlight being on Trump, the media will now be focused on these #MeToo feminist accusers and off of Trump's impeachment.
Or at least you would think so. My bet is on the MSM not reporting this sexual business at all or very little coverage. Stories like this used to kill political careers. Now, they need to be controlled, otherwise they could destroy the democRATS' partisan, hearsay impeachment inquiry.
I wish some of this "what goes around, comes around" stuff would nail Anthony Scaramucci and his personal vendetta against Trump. He's a loud-mouth, little Napoleon braggart, out publicly betraying the president after washing out of his WH job that Trump gave him, in only eleven days.
He's deserving of some of his own comeuppance for a change.
