Good evening, Janey…((HUGS))...stuck, but able to share with others. Hope you got out of New York.

Thanks for helping others get to their families/destinations to celebrate.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Not all of them. They’ll probably creep out at other times during the night. The Three Amigos [Sugar, Grey and Shadow] were waiting for me as I opened the door. As usual! LOL!

I’m sure all of them will eat something sometime tonight if they get hungry enough, unless the food gets too soggy. It’s still kind of drizzly. That’s a good thing! It’ll move out soon.

You need all the rain you can get, no doubt about that. Light rain and drizzle will all soak in with no runoff.

I just hope the others poke their heads out to eat before the food gets mushy.

I hope so, too, but it’s all up to them. I did put one dish under the edge of a table that should keep it fairly dry. They were eating from the other one, and it should be empty now. It was in a dry spot when I put it out there. I would put it on the front porch, but I don’t want to encourage them to hang out there for much time, with traffic so close. I’m sure they prowl everywhere anyhow.

They’ll show up when they get hungry enough.
Does Mystery still show up to steal their food?

Howdy, E.G.C. ((HUGZ))

Did you have a good day visiting with family members? Was Gizmo a good boy while they were there?

Good evening, radu, and Happy Thanksgiving.

The wind here is horrid!! Huge gusts and everything shakes. I think I heard the garbage can go over. I'll go check it later. (checked and one was down and moved.) I'm hoping all the trees in the back yard stay standing. The sound is driving me crazy.

Are you getting any of the ugly Midwest weather? Far enough south?

End of my road...I need to try to sleep.

Hey there, Kathy.

I hope the winds die down so you can enjoy a restful Thanksgiving. I can see and hear how rough it is on the airport cam and see there’s a lot of rain with it. Delightful weather .... NOT!

I know the scenario well. I couldn’t tell you how many times we’ve had to chase down things that were blown around the yard over the years. LOL! Fortunately we aren’t dealing with it this time around. The wildness is missing us. We just had a little breeziness this afternoon along with sunshine.

Sleep well and late! :-)

It was a great visit. My sister came from the city with the Thanksgiving turkey. My brother called from Texas. That was about it.

We had to take a break from the lake because I had some things I had to do yesterday. We will do Comanche Lake later today.

He comes and goes...sort of like Ghost. He hasn’t been around lately when I’ve been outside. Poor ol’ guy. I don’t run him off any more and I even got to touch him once. Once.

Sounds like you had a pretty good day even though you didn’t get to take Giz to the lake. I imagine you were busy getting everything ready for your sister’s visit.
You can spend a little extra time at Comanche Lake today to make it up to Gizmo. :-)

You finally got to touch him? Cool. It’s a start. I hope he’s ok since you haven’t seen him in a little while. Cats can be stinkers, disappearing and making us fret. Bad, bad kittehs!
