Whatever you may think of the Bushes, let’s not forget the underlying motive for promoting this little “weird sh!t” anecdote and others like it:
To mock and isolate President Trump and to discredit his America First agenda. To make it appear that there is not broad support for the President, only crazed white supremacists and stinky Walmart people.
So, it makes me sad to see this story taken seriously by FReepers. It makes me sad that FReepers respond to this political stunt with outrage and suspicion toward GWB - which is exactly what it was intended to invoke!
Whether W said that or not, doesn’t matter - a better response from FReepers would be: “Nice try Democrat...there was nothing weird about that speech - and nobody believes you anyway. Go peddle your lies somewhere else - we’ll see you 2020 - Republicans are as united as ever and we will take the Independents and a bunch of Democrat voters as well”
I doubt GWB ever said such a thing. That sort of speech was a common characteristic of the two Clintons. They had no morals or class.
