For those not in public education, these are the laws that pretty much dictate how your local school is run and what it must spend its money on. At my local, semi rural school, they had to retro fit each entrance to make it wheel chair accessible. Bathrooms had to be modified to accommodate wheelchairs. An elevator had to be installed to get to a lower level. In a new addition each room had to have a Braille label. In 20 years number of blind kids: 0. In 20 years number of wheelchair kids: 2.

A little girl with autism started kindergarten this year. She requires a full-time aide. Other kids with special needs also require aides—either full time or part time. The money for these kids comes off of the top of a school’s budget. Their needs, by law, must come first. If a classroom teacher has to be let go to pay for special ed kids, so be it.

Money is not what is lacking although teachers, certainly love to think it is. We spend so much money per kid it’s amazing how little they are learning. Don’t want to even think how much is being spent on special ed kids.

Democrats only have two ways to deal with revenue issues. Raise taxes and cut military spending. They do it every time and every time it screws things up but they are simply incapable of learning.

The 20 trillion is make believe. (not that it doesn’t exist) It can’t and never will be able to be paid off or even anywhere close to being paid off. The US will continue to plunge further into debt. Once the debt is called in and EBT cards are unable to be replenished.... that’s when Armageddon will begin.

So I guess she’s planning to eliminate the veteran benefits and pensions. That’s almost 1/3 of the military budget... entitlements.
