He just said something I hadn’t heard before, that he did not find political bias for opening the CH investigation, a decision that was made by Bill Priestap, Strozk’s boss. I don’t think I’ve every seen anything that says Priestap was politically biased. He was the boss of people who were, but who hasn’t presented something to their boss without fully disclosing their own thoughts about it?
“Documentary or Testimonial Evidence” means no one we talked to admitted to it, provided any written proof of it, or was willing to testify that someone else did it.

This is all a wild goose chase today because Horowitz did not investigate the CIA’s role in all of this. There can be no authoritative report on Spygate without that.

Feinstein is laying on the half-truths and lies pretty thick. She says the IG report proves that the Steele dossier wasn’t used to open the investigation. So? Nobody was claiming it was. It was used to get the FISA warrant. Talk about a straw man argument.
Then she says Horowitz found that political bias played no role in opening the investigation. Leaving aside that Barr and Durham disagree, Horowitz simply says he found no documentary or testimonial evidence that political bias played a deciding role in opening the investigation. That’s a subtle but important difference from what Feinstein is saying. Feinstein is portraying it as an exoneration, which it was not.
Horowitz is a deep stater and all he is doing is whitewashing the FBI crimes.

At the very least there should be indictments, at the most...disband this weaponized department/agency.

Now don’t you all worry. Sen. Graham said they’re going to fix the whole FISA thingy so this will never ever happen to a (Democrat) president. Wray’s got his hands full, but he’ll see to it that the agency is “reformed”. So do not worry. It’s in good hands. He even said, “we have to listen to Horowitz so we can make the reforms”.
And that’s what we get from the Horowitz report.

Always possible, but I think the exposure of the facts will (hopefully) overcome the initial Horowitz “nothing to see here” narrative that the press ran with.
I hardly think Feinstein cares how she comes across or looks....she’s happy she even got through reading her statement.

I'm all for term limits. Stagger the terms so we don't have a complete turnover and install an entire new body all at once.
