War means fightin' and fightin' means killin'.
- Confederate General Nathan Bedford Forrest
These are just quotes taken out of context to twist the words and make for a hit piece on Trump and everything he stands for.
Id be very curious to see an actual confirmation or rebuttal by Corey - but Im sure they asked and he refused to talk to them.
You never heard of this thing before. The teams, purpose and how they are used all needs to be reassessed. I heard a podcast just last week from a former SEAL who said he rarely dived, and most of the guys he knew lost that skillset.
I believe a few years after 911, I recall there was a shortage, then some changes in the training and how the SEAL teams would be utilized. They have been pulled out of their historical purpose to supplement new requirements (per strategies) that the regular combat unit couldn’t entirely fulfill.
Because of that, you’re seeing way more problems than before. And I believe much of this is indeed new. And if the regular SEAL teams weren’t good enough, we had to have SEAL Team 6 and what not.
“Special Operator 1st Class Corey Scott, a medic in the platoon, told the investigators: You could tell he was perfectly OK with killing anybody that was moving.
Perfect! That’s their job, kill people and break things!
Seals were trembling and crying over dead terrorists.
Sure they were.
Democrats just recycle the same crap over the decades. Now, it’s Vietnam all over again.
Did he ever watch someone die and then laugh and gloat and say "we came, we saw, he died!" in a mocking tone of voice?
I wonder what SEALs think of medics. That would be interesting.
People like Gallagher help the rest of us sleep comfortably at night. Comforts me to know that the enemy fears a warrior like Gallagher.
I guess this guy supported bombing the Korean end of the bridge over the Yalu River. Maybe he thinks Gallagher should have had more sensitivity training. . . moron tool.
I thought it was going to be an article about McRaven. LOL.
I guess some of these cryin nancies never heard the expression “ if it moves kill it”.
Frankly they lost me at the part where a couple of SEALs broke down crying. Lets get real here. I was more shocked at a bunch of cry baby SEALs than stabbing some ISIS freak.
I read that the medic who said he suffocated the kid testified that he did it because they were getting ready to have to turn him over to some warlord who was going to torture the already dying guy in a gruesome way til he actually expired. It sounds like they did him a favor.
The man is out of the military and retired, yet the military leaks this information to the NY Times, it goes to show you how desperate they were to destroy Eddie Gallagher.
How often does the military release video of interrogations and pictures used in a military trial.
In one report about this the picture of the dead ISIS fighter and the people posing with the corpse was released.
Seeing as how it’s the Slimes there’s a very real possibility that not a word of this is accurate...
Tomorrow’s NYT headline: Trump Makes Snowflakes Blow A Seal
Sounds to me like a feature, not a bug.
“You could tell he was perfectly OK with killing anybody that was moving.
Gee, I thought guys like him joined Special OPs to teach our enemies how to crochet. So where the folks he was killing the kind that gleefully kill women and children to further a highly evil religious cause?
Well, yea! SEALs are Bad MFs!
As Jack Nicholson once said to the faint hearted: “You can’t handle the truth!”
Question: Do SEALS in combat have to make split second decisions with the aim of staying alive and keeping others alive? Yes.
Question: Do those they are fighting want them dead? Yes
Question: Does killing more of those bad guys mean the SEALS get to stay alive longer? Yes
Question: Does all this take place in seconds? Yes
So Shut Up Medic.
The guy deployed eight times so Im willing to give him leeway. The thing that bothers me though is that (according to the article) out of a 22 man platoon 7 testified against him. Two testified that they never saw him do anything wrong and 13 refused to cooperate. If those 7 really were making everything up wouldnt you think 13 that refused to cooperate would have said something to protect Gallagher from false accusations?
If Chief Gallagher was such a problem... fire him. There’s no need to work-up fake charges, pull his Trident and do those sorts of things. But I notice that all-to-often that is exactly how the Left rolls in this country. They destroy somebody in the process of getting a desirable (for them) political outcome.
You could tell he was perfectly OK with killing anybody that was moving.
That’s exactly who I want in my foxhole!
A hit piece on Eddie Gallagher. Just what we expect from the NYT. Fiction dressed up as the truth.
