On the flip side, in the recent Jersey City shooting, a black female cop leaves cover to drag a wounded cop to safety; she was awarded for it, and rightly so; she could’ve been killed.

Given the amount of crack he had showing, a wooden enema with that baton would have moved him right off.

Never mind just the partner; EVERY NYPD cop will remember her. Pair her with another disgraced token; let them patrol Hart Island (it is uninhabited, with a huge potters field on it).
As I recall, use of deadly force is always justified if there is a possibility of a perp getting a cop’s gun. At this point, the cops would probably be safer either not packing, or keeping them unloaded in the holster. Both of those cops are lucky to be alive.
Recall the female guard/sheriff deputy in an Atlanta court overseeing this extremely violent criminal being tired for murder, while waiting in a holding cell he breaks her jaw, rings her bell, puts her in a coma, takes her gun, kills the judge, kills an attorney, kills a cop, kills a court reporter and then goes on a state wide murder spree before being captured.
Lemme ask you, if your were on patrol in some senseless murder district where most of the people on the streets are felons and or violent parolees who enjoy harming others, would you want some large street wise male as your partner, or some cute 26 year old 125 pound barbie doll playing cop?
Women get a little training with a cooperative martial arts trainer and think they are Bruce Lee.
When a 240 pound thug sucker punches one of them they go down like a bag of dirt supplying a gun, keys, spray and sometimes a patrol car. They need a little training in physics and biology as opposed to police hand to hand. And, let them do some detecting where their cognitive skills can be useful.

There was a case like that here years ago (started in PA, ended in NJ); a couple of car thieves broke down in PA, and beat a female cop who stops to investigate. They take her gun and car, then crash the cop car. A trucker who stops to help (what he thinks is a cop in distress), is carjacked and forced to drive them to Newark NJ, where they kill him with her gun and flee (to be caught soon afterwards).
I’ve also seen dashcam footage where a female cop stops a black fellow (with his young daughter) who decks her with one punch and flees; she’s lucky to be alive, though his future victims won’t be so lucky.
Here in NJ the state police always used a boxing ring as part of their training; the rationale was that many cops patrolled alone in their cars, and had to know how to fend for themselves physically. After a female cadet was killed in the ring, they ended the practice. Guess it isn’t so important anymore...

Did you watch the video? The woman cop seems to be of the same racial group as the suspect.
I am sure there are cases of police brutality, but this is taking it to the other extreme. The suspect is lucky he wasn’t beaten up by the backup cops.
I never understood policewomen. It makes no sense. Another idea taken way too far to the opposite extreme.
