I think there is absolutely no chance of Pence turning against Trump. He knows as well as anyone how ridiculous the articles of impeachment are and what snakes the Democrats are. There are a handful of anti-Trump Republican senators who might contemplate voting for conviction--not because they think the charges have merit but just because of their dislike of Trump--but they could be counterbalanced by vulnerable Democrats who might vote for acquittal.

What would Schiff accuse Pence of to justify impeaching him? It's hard to see the American public accepting any such accusation as legitimate especially when the transparent purpose would be to transfer control of the White House to the Democrats.
