I like some of the unusual things that come from China, and especially India. We have ‘Prime’, and I haven’t had a problem with any purchase with that designation, as long as I was careful to read the reviews and often seriously size up.
(I’ve seen some horror stories regarding misrepresentation and poor quality with clothing purchased directly from China. Also, even satisfactory things coming direct from China can take forever to ship; but often, you can find the same item as ‘Prime’ and fulfilled by Amazon, if you search around.)
“I do not buy a single thing through Amazon or any of its vendors. Zero. 100% boycott. Try it, its easy”
I disagree with some of Amazon’s stunts, too, but who to boycott? It’s a difficult problem.

My answer is to get eventually get positioned to produce more of the necessities at home. Many small shops will be needed by our young folks in the future anyway. Production will be more distributed and less centralized.
