I can’t recall where I read about it (probably FR), but a guy built his own underground shooting range. Busted a hole in his basement wall. Had his brother-in-law dig a trench out to the property line and put in a 24” pipe. Rigged up a pulley system to send the paper targets out.

A relatively cheap way set up your own personal shooting range.
