the difference is he is not a smooth talker which I like that about him.
Obama was a smooth talker even though everything he said was a lie, and he fooled a lot of people with smooth
trump just needs to keep focusing on the great things he has done and not spend so much time refuting everything at this point, his record speaks for itself its a great record.
Someone on another thread said Trump ‘has a conversation’.
I think that is accurate.
But, here, he tried to cover too much.
I said it earlier today less is more.
But “which” ‘less’?
I assume that will be decided by the backroom guys from the response to Trump’s many issues addressed today.

OTOH, only a slight revision of MAGA is needed:
“With your help, we are... Making. America. Great. Again!”
That retains MAGA and pushes for continuity (4 more years!)
I have mixed feelings about the comments here. I think first off and foremost Trump is keenly aware of “The Show” and the presentation...His speeches are scripted and brilliant, but he goes off at various points, then comes back to finish the thought.
BUT, you have to remember that a lot of people waited hours to get and see him, so he wants the event to be long and memorable.
Thus, he returns to some of the tried and tested best “hits” like for example:
-Being presidential
-Commenting on The Characters he’s running against..ie Mayor Pete
-Blasting people like Pelosi, Schiff etc.
-His improvs...like last night mocking Schiff and Pelosi because they wanted to be notified about the attack on a terrorist in advance, ONLY TO THEN SEND THE INFO TO THE MEDIA! LOL!
I mean nobody....nobody could do this. He basically, can do and say anything he wants...
And of course heads are exploding all over the place because he’s insinuating that Schiff and the others are leakers, and disloyal...etc. Which, of course, they are.
