Our satellite intel picked up signals of the ground radar being turned on & detected infrared blips of 2 missile launches, probably SA-15s, followed shortly by another infrared blip of an explosion.

yes, we already have sufficient evidence to prove this happened, everyone will believe it except Mike Lee, the media and the Dems.

“A missile up the back of the engine would cause it to overheat. “

Time to overheat the mullahs.

For a brief moment, they would likely enjoy that...

At the time the plane was blown out of the sky?

And the ground radar was where?

So the ground radar blips were rocket(s) being launched and the other blip was the plane being shot down?

Need more info and a timeline.

...it was just a few days ago Iranian President Hassan Rouhani threatened commercial aircraft travel.

Whoa. I didn't hear about that. Did anyone else?

While the MSM and those reporting such incidents knowingly avoid referencing the religious aspect of these conflicts. Portray the conflicts going on between entities in the area as territorial when they are actually sectarian based on enforcing religious concepts. Which orders those who adhere to Koran follow what they claim are Our Creator’s orders are authorized by God to execute unbelievers including those fleeing the area.

We have many satellites over Iran. They are designed to detect ground radar and launch signatures.
............
The Tor SA-15 missile is vehicle launched. Up to 4 vehicles are controlled by a command vehicle.
...........
The command vehicle, only, has target aquisition radar and can be linked to other ground radar such as the Tehran airport. As the launchers don’t broadcast aquisition radar they are safe from our HARM missiles.
............
Once the launcher receives a fire command is turns on its engagement radar and launches 5-8 seconds later.
...........
The system is intended to be automatic.

I doubt it was 100% a mistake. One thing is certain: the media will drop it entirely, unless there’s a way to blame Trump.

and the rather heartless way July 4 fireworks went on as scheduled the next day.

What does Independence Day fireworks have to do with it?

“It was reported Canadian intel had information an engine overheated. How the heck would Canadian intel know about this?”

Probably they wouldn’t — at least not that quickly. But the engines report periodically to the manufacturer via satellite telemetry. So GE or Pratt & Whitney might have been able to pull a few data points. But would Canada have gotten that information that quickly?

That video was actually posted very shortly after the announcement that the plane went down.

Yes, it is all Trump’s fault. If he hadn’t authorized the
drone assasination of an Iranian icon then the Iranians
would never have had to respond with missile attacks on
American military bases and risk the possibility of a
counter attack by American military aircraft which
caused confused Iranian missile operators to fire on a
civilian airliner by mistake.

When a nation has an average IQ of 84, those high-tech systems can be difficult to master.

Stuff happens.

As I understand, many modern commercial aircraft engines are built with their own, independent transponders to send a stream of telemetry to satellites to the manufacturer and/or operator while the engines are in operation.

This allows the manufacturer to see how well their engines are performing during flights in real time. They can know when an engines fails or is somehow performing poorly in conjunction with data about the environmental conditions the engines are operating under.

I first read about this technology when that Malaysian Air flight disappeared years ago. The pilot switched off the aircraft’s transponders but the ones for the engines kept operating while they were in flight, sending back data the whole time until the plane finally crashed. Ironically, the one piece of information they weren’t sending back was their location(!)
