Ok, we got caught. And we should have known better, because we have sent people to prison for far far less that what we did. We will make sure that this never never happens again like it did this time. Well, until next time, when we get another group of corrupt ideologically partisan hack supervisors and gob smacked stupid FISC judges.

Something further needs to be looked at here. It's the matter of interviews and the 302s. Interviews need to be taped and transcribed in a timely manner and the copies provided to the lawyer of the person interviewed upon request. The 302s also need to be completed in a timely manner and made available to the person's lawyer. Lengthy delays for transcripts and written reports are simply unacceptable.

The threshold for prosecuting someone for "lying to the FBI" needs to be raised. It's one thing for someone to consciously materially lie, and another for someone to make an honest mistake.

A video is almost as effective as a strongly worded letter.

FBI Director Chris Wray Responds to FISA Court – More Training, More Promises, No Mention of Accountability…

Posted on  by

In June 2018, in response to an IG investigation, while denying the FBI had any political bias, FBI Director Christopher Wray promised anti-bias training for all agents. In response to the “challenges” identified by the report, the FBI “appreciates the opportunity” to provide more “support” to our employees. [June 14th, 2018]

In December 2019, in response to another IG investigation, while denying FBI agents would intentionally act illegally, FBI Director Christopher Wray notified the FISA court a Senior FBI investigative lawyer named Kevin Clinesmith intentionally falsified evidence on a FISA application.

In response to the FBI notification, late December 2019 the FISA court demanded to know what corrective actions the FBI was going to take; and what other applications FBI Lawyer, Kevin Clinesmith, was involved in.

In response today (full pdf below) FBI Director Christopher Wray promises more training.

[Cloud pdf Link Here]

Making the statements even more ironic; and almost appearing to rub salt into the psyche wounds they inflict; the FBI notification of corrective action was submitted to the FISA court and signed by FBI Counsel Dana Boente:

As head of the DOJ-NSD it was the same Dana Boente who signed the fraudulent FISA renewal in 2017…. Go figure.

Throughout 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and through today, across both administrations, the corrupt group within the FBI in DC were/are protecting themselves. The FBI redacted the Lisa Page and Peter Strzok text messages. The FBI removed Page and Strzok texts and emails. The FBI hid texts and emails from Lisa Page to Andrew McCabe. The FBI kept documents from congress. The FBI has leaked false information to media to cover their tracks; and yes the Trump FBI have participated.

The corrupt FBI under James Comey, Andrew McCabe and James Baker is being protected and facilitated by the corrupt FBI under Christopher Wray, David Bowditch (San Bernadino infamy) and Dana Boente.

It’s one long continuum of exactly the same behavior.

Remember, 50 FBI ‘agents’ on Mueller’s team?  This DC network is ideologically aligned, operating on their own self-interests, & facilitated by a compliant media.  {Go Deep}

What on earth good will any of that do when none of these were “mistakes” - they were all intentional and this will help there? Dream on.

Go after the real culprits and take them to court and then prison!

How about punishing corrupt and criminal employees for the crimes they committed. Maybe he should fire corrupt employees starting with himself. A video, what a joke.

Send Wray back to King & Spaulding so he can join his buddies (Rod Rosenstein, Sally Yates, Zack Harmon, and others).

All of these “old hands” right across the street from the White House.

Who is paying the freight for these specialized talents?

If the FBI can lie to you, why can’t you lie back?

This is the essence of what is wrong with, and one of the major causes of the disconnect between the public and, our law enforcement entities.

Badge-wearers SHOULD be held to the highest standards. No more hiring the failed jock bullies to enforce the law. At least 2 years of constitutional law should be a minimum requirement for any law enforcement position.

And presiding judge of FISA, Boasberg, appoints a lawfare FBI apologist, David Kris, to assess FBI proposals to clean up FBI’s act.

An expensive sham on the public.

Education doesn't make a man honorable or honest. It just gives them new framework for BS.

All three braches of the federal government are working in cahoots to take power away from the people.

Who'd have thought, smoking in the boys room literally turned into a federal offense.

I would encourage all law enforcement personnel to be truthful. However, and this is where FReepers get in to rip roaring hate fests and fanatical stances, there are times when law enforcement should bluff to try to get at the truth. Here's the type of scenario I have used, and I swear to God, people could care less about the life involved.

A three year old girl comes up missing. The police learn that a child molestation suspect who has been paroled was seen near her home. They bring him in for questioning and he denies involvement. On a hunch the detective tells him that surveillance cameras at a couple of homes saw him grab her and carry her away. The suspect confesses and leads them to an abandoned house where they find the girl tied up and alive. She is treated at a hospital and released to her parents.

My opinion - GREAT JOB DETECTIVE!

They should add “don’t hire liberals” to their prevention plan.

Save the taxpayers money and just throw a few dozen of the criminal bureaucrats in prison.

That will get the message out much faster and effectively than even the most expensive, sophisticated and hi-tech public relations / re-education program could hope to achieve!

They can also combine it with a diversity training video.

That would be double plus good.

You realize that those types of confessions are almost exclusively a plot device for television dramas, right?

The FBI made those exact promises decades ago after they were caught abusing the FISA court system:

https://www.aclu.org/sites/default/files/assets/unleashed-and-unaccountable-fbi-report.pdf

FBI managers and employees need to be indicted and go to jail—that is the only message that will be understood.
