Good evening, radu, and a Blessed Lord’s Day to you and yours.
Did you have a dry out day...I hope?
BEAUTIFUL, sunny day here. Cold, but I was inside looking out. d:o) Now headed to minus temps.

Howdy, LUV.
Glad it’s been a nice weekend there so far.
Been pretty quiet here today. Not a pretty day either ... dreary and chilly. Tomorrow is going to be the only pretty day we have for a while. Looks like our ground hogs will see their shadows. :-(

Howdy, Kathy.
You DID have a beautiful day up there .... to look at through the windows or on a cam. LOL! TOO COLD!
But I envy the sunshine y’all had. It was dreary and chilly here. Apparently a shower or two went over while I slept because I just checked the rain gauge and there was a little in it.
Now the sky is clear and we have a pretty day in store tomorrow. The rest of the week ahead, not so pretty. *sigh*

We’d rather just be rid of them altogether. Destructive varmints, they are.

True. Thank goodness they don’t like the desert. We are plagued by their cousins, the prairie dog. But they mostly stick to wide open spaces. And they have the cutest tiny burrowing owls that share their space. They are only about 5 inches tall.

I ran across a live cam of burrowing owls a little while back. They ARE cute! I had no idea they were so tiny though.

We used to see them on the grounds of the university here when we walked around the track. Their eyes were almost as big as their little faces. LOL! It’s the only kind of owl I’ve ever seen around here, though I once heard a horned owl at my aunt’s once. Never saw him.

Just finished hauling duck food up from the garage...went to the kitchen to find food. Ducks quacking...I forgot that I gave them the last in the deck barrel last light. So had to bring more up. Still need to find food. It is now -1.1 as a I trudged to the mailbox and now have snow in my crocs. Need dry socks...life is tough. LOL!

LOL! Those ducks are more spoiled than my outside kitties!
Get those feets dry and warm and sit for a spell! It’s pretty darn cold out there! I looked in on the cam this afternoon and it looked to be a very pretty day, though. Clear skies and some sunshine.

They don’t live this far north, unfortunately. But we have several other kinds of owls. Plenty of GHOs in our area and I hear them at night quite often. Once in a while, I’ll see one sitting on top of one of the telephone poles out front around sunset.

The ducks were out there just waiting for you to go to the kitchen, weren’t they? LOL Like our cats, they MUST be fed FIRST or you won’t get to eat in peace. In your case, the neighbors don’t get any peace either.
I hope you have dry feet again and have eaten by now.

We don’t have many birds at all around here. Just doves and grackles...flying rats....and an occasional blue jay that HAS to be lost. No cool birds. I’ve never even SEEN an eagle except in zoos.
